Apparently, on the GC version of the game (It was released in a special disc that contained this game, Zelda 1, Zelda 2, and Majora's Mask. That disc came with a special collector's edition Zelda Gamecube... thing. idk, all I know is that it's on gamecube.) warps you back to the forest after you save, quit and reload the game. Which is what this guy did for every segment of his speedrun.

right after you talk to ganondorf instead of going to the temple of time if you head strait to the back ally there will be a dying guard its pretty cool next time you guys play you should check it out
