or go through the hell of converting a ford

50fordman... The Ford 6.7 Powerstroke only comes with an automatic, there is no 6spd option. As broken hearted as i am about it, i have to admit thar the new auto's Ford built is really badass, that still doesnt make it right though. The only way to get manual from the factory now is to buy a Dodge

@50fordman the shifter is weak from the factory, it has a sharp "L" bend at the bottom - the weld broke. If Ford had a manual behind the 6.7, I would still have my 08 and would get a 2011 after they're used and abused. I'm more than happy with my 6.4L manual.

@WaggyWilly it says it in one of your previous coments i think you should order a 6.7 6 speed

@50fordman How the hell did you hear that my shift lever broke off?

how's the 3600 holding up? I'm in the need of a clutch.... Mine stock clutch can't hold stock programming with just the dpf/dpc delete. I was thinking about going big with the clutch like a 3850, but I'm thinking i want some that is better mannered for daily driver and towing.

@dozerrn Well I've had 2 clutches with high HP tunes, both dual disc 3600#. One was a button clutch from SouthBend, and it held the Spartan 250 tune just fine, but couldn't hold the 310 tune. I got rid of it and got a Sintered Iron clutch from SB, and it's held the 310 for a long time. The Sintered Iron is much more rough riding than the button, and it makes loud noises, but it puts the power on the ground. SI is made for pulling, button is made for smooth, but it has to hold the power
