  • Compiling the kernel without having a clue what you're doing most definately screws up the system. You need to visit the IRC support channel of your distro or maybe ask a friend who knows these things.

  • huh, n00b question, would it screw my computer up? I have never compiled my kernel before

  • no, just recompiled the kernel with the HDAPS enabled under hardware monitors. To use HDAPS as a joystic device, make sure you have compiled the generic joystic support in aswell. Many games and programs are fun to control that way :)

  • nice. was it complicated?

    because i saw some installation guides that seemed tough
