The reason the Leica cameras are so expensive is because of the quality of each picture. The lenses are really expensive, but not overpriced, because they are after all the worlds best lenses. Each picture contains so much color and resolution-information that the opportunities to retouché them later are endless. I understand that people think that it's expensive, but this is for people with special interest and not just for hobby-use. It's the same reason they don't drive Smart cars in Formel1

@martinaee You kidding right ? Leica M systems are the most long lasting! Any camera would look cheap and poorly made next to it. I dont buy a lot of things, but i like buying quality products. The sensor has more depth and calibration than any other camera. Finally leica lenses are absolutely amazing in construction and optical results. Maybe you like cheap stuffs. As for Apple, you'll be happy to afford one, why despising people who wants to buy the best ?
