The unregenerate can't see (by faith) the kingdom of God. This is the God and the kingdom Christians are in love with.

Joh 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

To the unregenerate these things are foolish cos they're blind.

@eproulx Yeah, I find it amusing that christians can't even stay with one denomination! Hell, they aren't satisfied with 43,800 different ones. New ones are fabricated daily! rofl!

@mythicalhell: It depends, do you count each minor branch separately or do you keep together the ones that are somewhat related. Adherents (dot) com lists 43 800 different ones, and probably missing lots of eastern ones. But big branches only there are probably 25 major religions.

My point was that even inside a single branch, people disagree and fight. For example, while many protestants disagree with gay rights, some protestant preachers are openly gay or pro-gay.

@eproulx I agree with all you say but I'm not sure there's hundreds of thousands of religions, maybe more like hundreds or even a few thousand.  At any rate you're spot on re the number of denominations and the rest of your comment! Well said!
