Dude, that's awesome - you and I seem to have done the same thing - back in highschool, I did the VCR-to-VCR recording of all my favourite race clips, a lot of them wrecks. That's what this looks like.
Thanks man! Never seen this one live before...

Michigan ?

Agreed LOVED rusty as a competitor, not really very good at broadcasting

where was this at ?kansas?

@unmamfqlm I'd actually like them to go back to the way things were back around 2004 and 2005 with Fox carrying half and NBC/TNT carrying half. I know NBC/TNT wouldn't have B.P., but it'd be worlds better than listening to Rusty Wallace stutter and mispronounce everybody's names and listening to Jerry Punch pretend to know what he's talking about
-
@pirate772009 I agree. I actually like the whole FOX crew a lot. I find Darrell and Larry to be very knowledgeable, when it comes to the actual racing and technical issues. Mike is just a good commentator. They keep me entertained throughout most of the races. ESPN, on the other hand, has coverage that I just don't like at all. I wish FOX would carry all Sprint Cup races throughout the year.

@erasetoimprove I think Mike Joy, Darrell Waltrip, and Larry McReynolds do a pretty decent job even though the "boogity, boogity, boogity" thing quit being any measure of entertaining years ago and NBC/TNT was good until B.P. passed away. But ESPN with Jerry Punch, Rusty Wallace, and Andy Petree are almost unbearable but they're not as bad as the crew that does the truck races for Speed

@pirate772009 do what I do mute the TV and turn on MRN Radio.... or just mentally blog them. I personally hate ALL the announcers in NASCAR. That includes Speed, Fox, ESPN, and NBC. The only guy I like even a little bit is Dale Jarrett. I think the other ESPN guys are holding him back from showing his true potential as a TV personality... even so, he does a darn good job! But my standards were set by Benny Parsons, Ned Jarrett, and Bob Jenkins. We need people of their caliber back in the booth.

Speed's commentators suck so much. I can't even watch truck races anymore cause of Phil Parsons and Michael Waltrip. I know this isn't them, but its that tall dude that's a pit reporter for the truck series and he's annoying as hell too.
You got to see that awesome flip??? Dude. you're so lucky...
