Because ,while the earth's crust is rotating ,the two opposite gravitational forces compress the materials from both sides and they change form from solid to liquid. This means that both the convex and concave surfaces have volcanoes ,mountains ,rivers and seas.

@Jakaroukla Like scientists digging down, past the crust of the Earth, and sending down cameras that show that its not hollow, or simply magma, and that 0 scientists, including the best of the best like Steven Hawking, say this is false.
