im so sorry for your loss

@alanaranae1 First of all commenting on how an IV would hurt during labor is the WRONG thing to say. I can tell you childbirth was not as painful as the first miscarriage and the infertility we struggled with for years.

Thank you for sharing your story of a MC, I had one last year at 6wks. We are just now starting to ttc again now.

@hcmontessori I agree sometimes you need a D&C or a D&E in my case. It cleaned out my uterus and I went on to have two healthy pregnancies and two adoable kids. Have hope, hang in there! Promise yourself, no matter what happens, you will be a mommy someday. I kept telling myself that and it really helped me stay strong.

I had a miscarriage a year ago. I never got to see my baby. and I never got pregnant again. I would give anything in the world to be a mom and to have that baby back.

I'm so sorry you went through that, I had a mc in march @ 8 weeks. I didn't feel like talking about it even with family and friends who had mc'ed

Omg I'm so sorry! I'm just twelve but my mom had five pregnancies and two of them were miscarriages. I feel so sorry. I hate needles too! :) Bye!
I suffered a miscarriage just 2 days ago.The OB wanted to do a D&C. I said NO! It can permanently scar your uterus! After he made a snide remark, he went on to say that 95% of all miscarriages happen NATURALLY with NO complications.. But he was gonna give me a D&C anyways if I hadn't said NO!... Don't let them do it to you. Most doctors just want to get home in time for dinner without really informing the moms of their REAL choices. I'm recovering physically, but emotionally, it'll take time.

@hcmontessori In some cases like mine a d & c is necessary. You can only wait so long for a natural miscarriage to occur. If one doesn't then you can suffer an infection. My body carried on for a month without any signs of a natural miscarriage. I've gone on to have a health pregnancy. Without knowing someone situation I would NEVER tell them to go against medical advice.

I'm so sorry for your loss hun :(
Just wondering, how did you find out it was progesterone deficiency before your second pregnancy? I too had a missed miscarriage and found out the baby had died at 9 weeks and I'm scared for the next time we try... do you think it will be worth doing tests for it?
Congratulations on the new little one though!

@Allyangerable I ended up having three miscarriages before they found out I had the progesterone issue. I had to get blood draws every week while pregnant to find out.

did you need to be put on progesterone before you got pregnant because im on miscarriage number 2.The 2nd one they did notice a very low progesterone level , but I dont think they put me on the suppositories until they noticed it and by then i think it was too late. So should i ask my docter about putting me on it before i get pregnant now? Thanks

@Mymichelle2332 I was put on it the minute I got a positive pregnancy test. It sounds like that may be what you need. I was the same way fine before but once I got pregnant it dropped. I was on 100 mg twice a day from the first positive test to week 13.
