After a few weeks of waiting I finally got my New M1330. I consider myself to be the first 10% to get it without any major delays. (2007)

So it's been a well since I've had this laptop. I've had terrible experiences with this laptop! I use it at college and it has broken down on me when I've needed it the most. OK. Here's the list...three motherboard/ graphic card replacements.( broke once around my finals) one Hard drive crash. 100+ blue screens and net browsing crashes.
I'm very disappointed with the DELL'S M1330. I have a MACBOOK PRO now!!

  • Umm why would u set a verry hot running computer on fabric

  • @redzaturn It was only running on the fabric for this video. That would be pathetic if it over heated from just his. But It doesn't mater I have I Mac Pro and it can run in any setting and not get hot, or BREAK!

  • I would buy a mac, but the college I'm going to doesn't allow mac because it doesn't work with the school's PC software.

  • @DarkBlitz97 So, no compatible software for the Mac? I went from PC to Mac right when I got in College. never looked back..

  • @porterejohn Not worth my time. Did it and it still breaks.

  • @Mazda6B6 I've had the XPS m1530 for nearly 3 years now (same machine in a bigger case) and I've had absolutely no issues with it. I clean out the fan once a year and reinstall the OSs (ubuntu + w7) every 6 months for best performance. I've used it for games, office, browsing, photo editing and video editing. Its never been dropped, looks like new and performs as well as any brand new machine. I wish Dell still made them with core i5 & 7s and more ram. I'd buy it in an instant.

  • nah emachines is worse it can barely play super meat boy

  • @m1330T9500 I never had the computer operating at extended periods on my bed lol. Only had it on bed for 2 minutes. The computer never had overheating problems( fan/cooling), therefore this rules out overheating the cause of the XPS issues. Additionally, most of the issues stated in the video happened during "Very" casual computer use (college). I never gamed on it, nor did I run it is on high settings at extended periods. I now have a Macbook Pro. It can run Mac in any condition w/out failing

  • @Mazda6B6 What are you talking about? It needs to cool! you've got every vent on it blocked by having it on the bed.. Your own fault if it fails.. Could ruin the CPU, GPU, HDD or MOBO.. Good Luck

  • Well, you do make a point.. In that case Im the one who have to agree that dell sucks.. :)
