What a success story! Four months ago, Blarney Stone Acres owner Lise McNamara imported from England a bay, four-year-old Gypsy Horse she named Blarney Stone's Smooth Operator. He came from a huge herd of 150 geldings. Since Smooth had hardly been touched by humans, he arrived in America close to a wild horse. Lise worked with him while at her farm in New Jersey, then sent him to Full Circle in late August. On Oct. 17-18 he won ribbons in dressage, halter and hunter pleasure, including 1st out of 11 entries in Intro A Dressage with 66% and 1st out of 9 in Sport Horse in Hand with 76.5%. He was trained by Full Circle's Clarke Vesty and Mary Jo Wicker and showed by Mary Jo and Laura Ovaitt. We are very proud of Mr. Smooth.
