  • squier is made in china i think

  • They used to be made in Mexico, my old Squier was made in Mexico, it's quite possible they moved the production to some asian country, I'm not sure and I can't be arsed to find out.

Squier is a good beginner's guitar, if you do not have the money for something better, imagine buying a 1000$ guitar and then giving up on guitar a month later.

  • He moved the truss rod then said it looks straight? NO! The wood doesn't magically shift automatically. You need to wait roughly 10 minutes to actually see a change.

  • Expertvillage, Thank you so much. I just got my Fender Stratocaster yesterday. I had ordered it from AMA so I did not know how it was set up. Let me say first I love this guitar, but she was a little high on the setup. I was so worried about trying to ajust it myself, but you guided me through this . I can not believe what that very small adjustment did. She plays like sweet.

  • @moe354sa well after the 1st month the rod finaly moved but i had to play a whole month a new guitar with high action :S

  • @rurounisld sounds like a warantee issue

  • What happens if my guitar neck is too loose?

I had to loosen the trust rod to stop fret buzzing, but since It's my first time setting up a guitar I'm kinda worried what would happen if it is too loose.

  • Great tips. Tks !
