    Multiply the lengths of the two legs (base and height). Then divide this answer by two, since it's half the size of a rectangle.

  • @Dillon1791 Sorry I was slow to reply: take the lengths of the two legs (short sides). Multiply them together, then divide by 2 (area of a triangle is always exactly half the area of a rectangle).
