That t@t Day essentially tried to steal a trademark because his wasn't enough to make aliving. And he almost got away with it.

I became a fan of Bucks Fizz from the moment I saw them at the Eurovision back in 1981...to me the original BF will always be the original 4 (with the exception of newcomer Shelley Preston who replaced Jay Aston back in 1985).
David was never to become a new BF member and I'm so glad that it all fell through eventually..Bobby is a really nice guy as is the rest of the original band..they've gone through a lot over the years but I still remember them fondly and back them all the way !.

Makes me want to see the whole programme again. I am 99% sure I have the recording. I will have a look. It was originally a 40 minute show, on BBC2 from 9.50pm - 10.30pm one night.

It is funny who David often gets the blame for this, Bobby G was the one that went after him. Bucks Fizz really died way Jay Ashton left.
