@Brenton81 Sometimes in the U.S. the dynamic brake sound has to replace the HORN!!
-
Great video as usual Brenton, is the second locomotive one of UP's newer more energy efficient ones?
-
So according to wikipedia trains will still have a caboose if they are on a local, small, or reserve railway and on special event trains.
-
Two things I've noticed here. One is that this is a quiet zone and two there was a switcher locomotive on here.
-
Strangely, I was drawn to the clouds and couldn't get past the fact that they weren't moving. It was like a painted backdrop for the old Westerns :)

Nice crossing gates,I hope the new ones work better because I did not hear the train blow the horn!!

@crossbowbunny2010 The same signals are still there. This crossing is in a Quiet Zone, so the engineer doesn't blow the horn.

That caboose looked pretty old. I wonder was anyone inside of it!

@starguard Nope, the caboose is empty. It's used for the conductor to stand on when the train is making back-up movements. Otherwise, it's unoccupied.
