OTEP is definately not EMO. And far, very far from 'mainstream'. Otep stands for something. Otep stands for what they truly believe in and is not afraid to show it. Otep is out to help people who feel low of themselves. if you watch any of her interviews, she clearly states that. and clearly states that this band is METAL! before you call an amazing, meaningful, true band emo, GET YOUR RESEARCH DONE AND MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT!
