@LeeroyFan101 ...and you would say that on a VIDEO talking about HAITI!!!!! RACIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!! O.O
-
@SonicCloo Yes I so agree! If people adopt only on the basis that they want to "save a life," then that's going to be really hard on the child. They're probably going to grow up wondering if they were wanted as an individual or if they were just adopted because their adoptive parents wanted to do a charitable thing.
As an adoptee myself I have struggled with this. When adoptees are only adopted because people pity them, the child is probably going to grow up questioning their worth.

@ESPSAlita Even if she is boosting her creds AT LEAST she is doing something and not JUST talking about it. I think thats still better than some celebrity just doing nothing :/
-
@ESPSAlita Yea im the judgmental one. I was commenting to YOUR judgmental comments.

@brambleshadow2 And you're a judgemental idolater. But we all have our faults.

@RussianEmpress She's a celebrity interested in boosting her cred. We have plenty like her: Oprah, Madonna, Paris Hilton, etc. But these are all the "beautiful" people. No one cares when someone like Jimmy Carter dedicates his life to human beings. We just make fun of his ex-presidency because he doesn't have great tits and silicone injected lips. Audrey Hepburn gave up her career to dedicate her life to philanthropy. And she didn't go on talk shows to chat about it. She was simple and elegant.

u can say wathever else you want.Dont say he s a bad actor .Come on

I would DONATE some money. It would help a lot of families, not just ONE kid.

Angelina Jolie adopts a child: appears in CNN, she is good, she's helping a family, a great woman.
Sean Penn donates his money: he isn't showed on TV, he is a communist, he is helping Chávez, he is a traitor, he doesn't do anything for the people, he is a bad actor...
Come on people.

As someone who was adopted, I think the mentality of whether or not you should adopt should be whether or not you want a child. If you think you want to adopt because you want to 'save' a child, then quite honestly, I think that child will face some difficult identity crisis' when he or she is older. I've gone through it personally, and quite honestly, it was the hardest part of my adolescence. Add fame, money, & overwhelming sympathy, the environment might not be the greatest for a growing kid.
At least she has the guts to care for more than one human life. An unselfish and worthy act, and morally good in my opinion. We need more like her in this world.
