Note:
When you finish entering the code, follow the same as listed below:

Press L+R, then you´ve got 493 Masterballs. Toss for example 1 Ball and then press L and go through the grass. Then you can catch a Darkrai, because Darkrai´s Dex-number is 492. You basically just do subtracting.

Here is another example. Find a Pokemon that you want on the Pokedex. Say that Pokemon is number 168. So you subtract whatever number it takes to get there. In this example subtract 493 and 168, and you shall get 325. That means, you have to toss 325 masterballs to get to 168. Now, press L and go through the grass to get that Pokemon.
