  • out of interest - how much do you beleive you would need (in AUD) to build this as is?

  • The scale of the design in this presentation is that approximating the 57300 horsepower 90"-diameter Advanced Axial Flow Waterjet Propulsor. For practical purposes, i.e. proof-of-concept / prototyping, we need to downscale - to, say, a 3-cylinder-37bhp-petrol-engine­-driven demo unit, first - which should be buildable within a budget of AUD5000. The bulk of expense will be machining of the rotor assembly to be done with CNC...
