#19 Trio from Mozart's The Magic Flute

Pamina - Christina Martos
Sarastro - Evereich http://www.evereich.com/
Tamino - Eric Fennell http://www.ericfennell.com/
Conductor - Ekhart Wycik

Apologies to Christina for being left out of most of the shot. Her beautiful voice comes through great. The person's instructions when filming were "record me"... and that's what happened.

  • ¡cómo me gustó La Flauta Mágica!

  • ¡Igualmente! He tenido el privilegio de cantar Sarastro tres veces.

  • Of course it sounds frantic; this is a frantic part of the opera. OK, it's not exactly how it would have been sung when Mozart was around, but still beautiful. Well done guys!

  • I need someone to answer these questions. I am currently a boy coloratura soprano (I actually can sing the F6 in full force). Anyway, I really want to be a tenor but my chest voice cant sing the tenor C. My head voice is much stronger than my chest because I have trained it for 7 years. Do you have to sing high tenor notes in your chest voice to be considered a tenor or can you use ur head voice. Any info u can give will be appreciated.

  • I liked your costume in the Sarasota Opera version! You are still an amazing singer!

  • the soprano...not so great. too big of a voice for pamina. tamino is great, although i think too big for this role as well, but still makes it beautiful! this role is devilishly difficult!

  • Brilliant!! Mozart would be proud!!

  • What is that soprano doing? This is not Puccini. Her tone has no center, she sounds frantic and behind the orchestra in places.

  • Lovely Eric!
