In an August 12 interview with Univsion, the Spanish language network, APWU President Cliff Guffey condemned a USPS proposal to make workers pay for USPS financial problems. "It's an attack on collective bargaining," he said. "We just finished negotiating our contract two months ago. We made certain compromises to protect our no-layoff clause and maintain our benefits. But two months later, management has gone to Congress to break the contract and revoke our right to collective bargaining."
