  • Question, why did the orc hero in the black orc unit survive surely the hydra shoudl have run him down along with his unit. Secondly you cant cast black horror into combat!

  • The Hydra did not run down the rest of his unit, they were all killed in close combat.. black horror is a template spell that requires no line of sight.. point to a spot on the board and cast, every model under is hit, even if in close combat.. incorrect?

  • I am the Dark Elf player :D

  • you didn't regenerate wounds? why?

  • i'm a darkelf player and i freaking love black horror!

  • 8th edition is coming out, so this may not matter. You can't reform and still shoot. I noticed that the night goblins reformed to face the cold one knight on turn 4.

you can't reform and perform an action. a turn would result in your two ranks of goblins remaining stationary. you would just turn your models to face. That would result in you only getting 2 shots with the night goblins.

Basically, you performed a reform, not a turn.

  • To be fair, the orc player had an uphill battle with just about everything taking fear tests.

    Excellent BatRep! well done.

  • Hero cold one knight kills about 14 orcs, 10 wolfriders, spear chukka and a goblin shaman!

That damn elf deserves a medal.

(and probably a new right arm)

  • My best bro plays Dark elves and I play orcs and gobbos. We are both very good and play in lots of tournys like ard boys and such. I also play vamps high elves and daemons. But I have yet to loss with my Orcs. And imo they are the hardest army to play due to the shear randomness they have. but if they are played right (lots of gobblins) they are just a pain to overcome. Lol loS blocking with tons of wolfriders and fleeing with them always tends to do the trick.

  • @oostyen Hi. Really great Batrep. Thanks. BTW: to clarify - you can only cast a spell into combat if it says so in the spell description. Mini rulebook page 107.

  • Whoops, typo, I meant if they can get where they need to be. Animosity is a b... if you roll a one they don't do anything, if you roll a six they move 2d6" forwards, my guys once ran into a tower, causing them to lose a turn to reposition.

  • O & G are pretty good, actually, their troops hit hard WHEN they can get where they are. Also hard is the animosity, and the fact some players (including me) dare to forget their waagh...

  • Wtf....

    How is the Hydra unbreakable?
