in ottawa they took one major dowtown core road way & put down concrete dividers for bicycles. turned 2 lanes each way into 1. fire & parameds were 1st to complain, as there weren't even any cutouts to get to the front of these large multinations buildings. they couldn't recieve deliveries & it created GRIDLOCK. gas tax pays for the roads, cyclists contribute nothing, yet get all this tax money spent on them like we're in a rush to become china. plus theres snow 6 months of the year so wtf!?
