Did you use the spacenavigator or a HUD camers for that? I use the 3-d mouse as I'm clueless about setting up scripts and all my stuff has been "live" so far so scripts would be useless. I still think the UI sounds etc added to the piece but I'm a fan of ambient audio like that.

Yes I loaded some new viewers and upgraded the driver so now my cameras suck :-). I fond that upgrading my video card from Invidia 6200 to 9800 made a huge difference. I suspect the next upgrade will be the CPU to Quad core as FRaps and Sl use a lot of CPU together and then of course writing to disk. At the moment I can capture 1024x576 at 10-25 fps which is pretty good especally if you use cuts. Tweaking the settings in the viewer can help immensely.

In my opinion the UI noises actually made this better. Even the IM didn't bother me. Very efective "one continual camera move" Very diificult to do without a glitch showing up especualli for over 6 minutes. I shoot long pans etc. but I usually end up cutting seperate scenes to hide the glitches and accent the rythmn changes etc. However this piece is quite the opposite and the one constant shot is the best but most difficult technique. Awesome music. Who is that?

I do my work live and yes the UI sound did not need to be there. The video is shoot off the cuff as you know second life is not always kind to video or anyone for that matter. Too work in or on this platform is tough at best so it do take a love for it.
Thank you for your feedback and well contact that Dizzy Banjio guy. I have seen his wonderful work as a builder and video.

Although the vision you had for this was not perfectly expressed it was beautiful. Unfortunately most of the beauty came from the build not the machinima. I realize that sounds a bit mean but I will qualify by adding that if you had re shot the whole thing with your UI volume turned right down and not got your camera stuck inside the central object for 2 minutes that you have a great visual flare that in my view you should make more effort to perfect. I speak as a watcher not a maker.

I actually wrote a long response but for some reason it didn't upload :( Basically I said it's cool and you should develop your skills and to contact Dizzy Banjo in world cause he is friendly and skilled and would prolly help you out if you were interested. But I am only expressing my view. Oh yeah and I said about the soundtrack to this film being awesome without the UI ping from the IM. SL6B video by dizzybanjo. check it out.
