Thornton Academy 2008 SMAA Golf Champions

Thornton Academy's golf team had the low team score of 308 to win the 2008 SMAA Golf Championship. TA as the winner of the central division was matched up against the northern division winner (Deering) and the southern division winner (Kennebunk). The 18-hole tournament was held on the Tomahawk course at Natanis golf course in Vasselboro on 10-6-08. The four scores for TA were 75 by junior Andrew Cummings, 77 by junior Brian Angis, 78 by junior Zach Golojuch, and 78 by senior James Morse. Other team members include senior Jon Thompson, senior Peter Bilotta, and coach Mike Verrier.
