@ExcelIsFun You are awesome. Thank you for taking the time to answer in such a rapid manner and for all your videos! I've learnt a lot from them.

Did you highlight just one cell?
Is there formatting on the first row?

OMGGGG this is driving me maddd, why is it that whenever I wanna sort the columns from A to Z even the first row gets sorted with the others, I'm following along in ur workbook ( min 0:57) but it didn't work as for u, I think I'm gonna skip this lesson until I get an answer and move on, thanks a lot ! :)))

I saw on a spreadsheet that it had a dropdown with functions on a cell so you had a whole row of subtotals that you could choose for each column by selecting one of the functions on each dropdown menus of the last row. Did you cover that on your videos? Does it have a name as I can't find it. Thank you.

@MaghoxFr , in 2007 or 2010, you add the Total Rows. You must have a proper table, then Ctrl + T to convert it to table, then from tabletools Design ribbon, checl Total Row.

Thanks so much for the videos. :)
I wanted to ask two questions
1) At the beginning of this videos you converted the table to a normal range of cells using a shortcut ( we can say a opposite of Ctrl + Shift + *) what was that shortcut ?
2) If I have a big range of cells like the data in the above range and I wanted to number all records in one column. How can I do that quickly?

To convert to range, right-click and point to Table Convert to range.
If the column starts in cell A2, enter this formula in A2 and copy down:
=ROWS(A$2:A2)
