Amiga Longplay [564] Ween: The Prophecy

I've never tried to bash my head against the wall with these "didn't believe it would be possible to get this one right by trying every possible combination" and "wouldn't had found that pixel unless looking for it" games, but I've completed most of Amiga adventures with solutions a long time ago. This is one of the games which I've missed previously so I decided to add it in the list by playing with a walktrough available at Lemonamiga.

Interface is supposedly designed to be simple, but with poor results. There's a lag when accessing item menu and items can only be decelected by using the right mouse button. Naturally the same button is also a shortcut key for accessing the item menu and so the annoying lag is also present while decelecting items. Also the game sometimes has problems detecting mouse clicks (e.g. while entering doors and an the archery sequence at the end). The worst problem however is in the music, there's not nearly enough of it and the volume level in one of the tracks is fluctuating a lot which can get annoying.

Long pauses during screen changes also slow down the game. I did extensive editing so the idle loading would be reduced to a minimum. This video is about 15 minutes faster without the "extra" loading.

P.S. I hate the copperball morph system.

Gotta say, this game looks lovely creepy in a way and graphics are really nice too.

Reminds me a bit of shadowgate in a way but seems to have something more deep in to it.

Yush, I ain't gonna spoil this for my self thus I am going to play it through my self before watching whole video of this.
