He does spin some amazingly fluid lines. Not easy to do with this transcription. I do miss some of the softer orchestral colours that are possible though. Somewhat sacrificed for the onward flow, which is impressive in this recording. It's exciting!

I have a vhs with N.Freire playing Sonate #3, Murmmuring wood, gnomenreige,,and Hungary Rhaps. No 10 and this Wagner/Liszt. in 1986.
