@billpennock1951 Not really, because the 14th amendment is very vague in what it protects you from, so basically, that means unelected judges can decide for themselves what they consider to be "privileges and immunities" are. That means that every single law enacted by every single state can be struck down as unconstitutional. The Constitution guarentees free travel between states, so if one state enacts a bad law, you can freely move to another.

Hmm, if you actually read the 14th ammendment it reaffirms our individual rights against state coercion. If you love individual liberty the 14th amendment is your friend not your foe.

We are on the brink of legalizing gay marriage using this amendment. If we could repeal this nefarious amendment, we could undo a lot of mischief that has occurred in America. REPEAL THE 14TH AMENDMENT!!!
