Inspired by the reality of Childhood eating disorders and the lack of time families spend in the kitchen together, Cooking With Kids television segments were designed to motivate parents and children to cook healthy, nutritious meals together.
The 10 segments of Cooking With Kids are shown in classrooms throughout Washington State, and received great feedback!

I think that it is very important for children to be involved with preparing meals if at all possible. Most children will eat the food better if they are involved in the process. This is a very good way to get kids to eat healthy. As the video states it is important for children to get three servings of dairy per day.

No wonder this video sounds like a dairy commercial...it's sponsored by the Washington Dairy Products Commission. (See the Fact Sheet page on the Cooking with Kids site)

Sounds like a great recipe! When my babies get older, we'll certainly give this a try. It would be great for picky eaters!!
