  • Shit commentator

  • Thumbs up if you think Heikki's a legend and he deserves a better team.

  • is that greg rust commentating?

  • @parkerbestdad Fire does not stay in the same place you moron. Fire spreads, and that is common knowledge. How do you think a bushfire happens, do you think someone goes across and lights every single tree on fire? No, a small fire starts, and it spreads like crazy. When you have a fire right on top of an engine, any idiot (with you being the obvious exception) would try to avoid putting that vehicle near anyone.

  • The walkabout tickets are the best if you're there for nothing but the racing

  • @parkerbestdad

He was well off the racing line and poking along at 15 MPH.

  • Is the commentator Australian? I thought he sounded familiar when I was watching it live...

  • Heikki was smart. Some guys in the pit lane don't have fire-proof clothing and he would have probably blocked the pit lane. Lotus would not have wanted a fire in their garage and where else would he go? To where the medical car is parked? If other cars were in the pit lane, he probably would have been black flagged. Good thinking...

  • Hey guys he is a FINN. He´s got that "sisu" what makes all Finnish race drivers so good. Just give him a proper car and time/opportunity to develop it the way he wants it to be then we´ll all see what he can achieve.

  • @parkerbestdad

Bro. There are a lot more people in the pit than on the straight. He himself said that he didnt want the car to explode in the pits cause that will hurt a lot more people. He handled that situation well and he deserve the credit. better safe than sorry. What more he hugged the wall, I think the yellow flag went out, and engineers warned the drivers. So chances of slipping is possible, but unlikely. And how do you know there was an oil spill.
