  • Hey i'm wondering how Brandon made the slowmotions effects.

Did he render out @ 60 Fps and slow it down in AE or did he adjust a timeline curve inside Max. Another possibility, did he slow it down with the time function in Rayfire?

But i need to slow down an entire scene for xx frames long within max. What would be the best way for me to accomplish this

  • @Seeeerdar

There is special RF_Physx helper for RayFire Tool which allows to animate time scale, you just need to animate time scale as you want, add in Physx list and start simulation.

  • how you did to move the debris after the colison ,like in 1:04 , please could you make a tutorial or just tell us about your technique

  • This is simple max's spherical Wind spacewarp with negative strength.

  • what are you using to make that jedi looking force moving thing! its a reactor setting or are they particles?

    thanks!

  • This is simple spherical Wind space warp with animated negative strength, it tries to move all objects to its center. That is all.

  • What kind of sorcery is this? :O

  • do you have any tutorials for this stuff....??

  • Hey ive got a simple question.

I am completely new to rayfire (just got it today)

how do you keep the, wall for example, from crumbling before something hits it. as in like having the shape be one solid shape but when something hits it, thats when it crumbles away.

  • FUCK! i have a mac.

Which pisses me off because 3DS Max is PC only.

Which pisses me off because Rayfire is only for 3DS Max.

    WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK

  • That space warp attracted animation part looks brilliant to me!

  • in freddiew's katamari video I noticed he used rayfire and moved the centre of gravity to be inside the ball, so all the objects stick there. How do you do that?

  • AWESOM!!!!

  • what is that fly thing at 01:30? you did it with RayFire too? btw i love your tutorials thanks a lot

  • @fooffooffool I believe Blastcode can achieve somewhat similar results.

  • hey man, very good ... but how did you wreck the stick the ball in 1 minute and 3 seconds? something like anti gravity ...

    could do a tutorial?

    thanks
