On November 20, 2009 at approximately 2144 hours, the Sheldon Police Department was in pursuit of a 2005 Chrysler traveling northbound in the southbound lane of HWY 60 which is a four lane divided highway. Stop Sticks were deployed by Osceola County Deputies. Sparks are visible on the video from the suspect's vehicle being driven on it's rims. Officers were able to box the suspect's vehicle in and implement a rolling road block between the towns of Ashton and Sibley. The suspect was taken into custody and charged with numerous traffic violations including Operating While Intoxicated. Also assisting in the pursuit was the Iowa DNR.
