http://hoofbeatsbook.com While living in Montana in the 1970s Lee Nelson hitched two horses to a pair of Levi 501 jeans to see if the two-horse drawing on the leather patch is based on fact or fiction, a scene described in Lee's new book, Hoofbeats. With the release of the new book Lee repeated the experiment, this time with the cameras rolling so YouTube viewers can see the results. Lee Nelson has published 35 books including the ten-volume Storm Testament series, probably the most serialized story in modern times, with installments appearing in over a hundred newspapers and periodicals while he was writing it. His books have sold nearly a million copies. Lee is known for his authentic research which includes killing a bull buffalo with a bow and arrow from the back of a galloping horse. Hoofbeats is Lee's personal history, the adventures of his life, also a handbook for others wanting to write the stories of their lives.
