Aleister Crowley defined magick as "the science and art of causing change to occur in conformity with the will". After all if the universe is affected by our will as suggested by quantum physics then we are able to change the probabilities of an outcome. The general practice of "magick" in simple terms involves the ritualistic creation and manipulation of symbols and correspondences. For example the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet correspond to the 22 cards of the major arcana within the tarot and to the 22 paths within the kabblistic tree of life. Mind is not separate from reality, nor is reality separate from the semiotic spaces it inhabits. Reality is symbolic at a more fundamental level than of a quantum nature, manipulating symbols manipulates the semiotic spaces therefore by changing the way we think about things we change reality because we are changing the language of the mind.

@Daniazco Depends what schema we're talking about. Some might loosely associate "chakras" with glands in the endocrine system in which case they're as real or unreal as the nerve plexuses to which they correspond. Nothing resembling "vortex energy" has ever been scientifically detected as emanating from the supposed chakra points, but in saying that I'm not refuting that the body does generate a bio-electric field.

@zezt Yep, totally agree, but I feel that all of this can be contained within a psychological process. By which I mean that what reality is really about it a battle of ideas of what "reality" actually is. Those who command language can control those who must use that language. @zezt 2--this necessitates a critique OF magick, because as we see the ones doing this are doing unfathomable evil. So what does that mean? It begs us to QUESTION the very enterprise OF magick.

The origins of this mindset as far as I'm aware go back to the sun cults and they suppressed the Goddess. So it is a type of magick that is cut OFF from deeper understand, interelationship with nature, and love, and empathy!

You seem to be about to get into it at the end for part 2, but what i want to draw attention to is the ACTUAL magick being DONE by an occult conspiracy, and what this means for how we understand magick and our reality. They with their propaganday and more esoteric propaganda/sorcery ARE very much the matrix and are USING us for their bloog magick rituals as sacrefice to their 'gods', and influencing our sense of reality.
