@dcr1942 The repetition isn't too bad. And once you're done you're done for a year. (at least that's how long I leave my filters on for).
Velcro is an interesting idea. It may make a better seal around the edges and would still look nice. But you would still have to put the velcro on each filter every time you change it. Which could get expensive. I'll have to think about that though. Thanks.
@dml0007 Dude, I have never in my life seen an air purifier with the filter coming after the fan. Besides, if you put the filter after the fan all the dust and crap would get in the fan You would also have a greater chance of a seal breach since the fan would be pushing the filter away instead of pulling the filter in.
Too much repeat work for me. Maybe Velcro would make it easier to install and change filters

Dude you suppose to put the filter in the front of the fan if you want to clean the air not the back.

Why do you need zip ties or tape? if you turn on your fan, the filter will "cling" to it.

Since air passes through the filter any "cling" effect is eliminated.
