oh, my Oscar has my stuff on his side fins but no where else, could it be Ich?He uses all of his fins still very frequently. He is VERY active and no signs that he suffers or anything.

Tank isn't dirty, just bad lighting. The water was replaced, heated and treated a few weeks prior to it, and had ammonia placed in the water for Beneficial Bacteria to grow before hand.
