This is Blackbeard's Lost Treasure Train at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ. It's a large Tivoli model from Zirer. They manufacture family type rides and this one's no exception. I think this ride should be called "Twister" or "Windstorm" given the noise the extremely long train makes when it's going through the course. Here are the stats, Height: 26ft 3in/8.01m, length: 1,181ft 1in/359.9m, speed: 22.4mph/36.04kph, ride time: 1min 5sec, year opened: 1999

  • LOL that looks more boring then Thunder Mountain Railroad @ Disney World.

    It's so slow ... LOL

And where is Jackson NJ Located? South Jersey? North..?

  • Jackson is about an hour northeast of Philly, about 1.5-2 hours south southwest of New York City, and about 30-45 min east of Trenton, NJ. I just posted this video for the extremely long train and the unique noise it makes when the train goes through it's course.

  • This ride is horribly engineered. When it goes over the crest of a hill, the train doesn't move fast because most of the weight is behind the apex and the passengers in the front are thrown to the front of the car. It hurts a lot.

  • this ride is not that bad speed plus calmness = great ride

  • I love this ride!!!!! This and runaway mine train are my favorites!! When I grow some balls I'll get on superman and batman....although my friend is dying to drag me on nitro lol

  • funnnn!!!

  • Not to sound like a pussy (I love all rollercoasters) but this looks like fun. The ride would be so smooth.

  • im rode this 7 times when i went 3 months ago

  • @CoolVideoGameVideos That sound is pretty much unique to the rides from the Tivoli company. Personally, I think they should have named it Whirlwind or Tornado as that's exactly what it sounds like to me.

  • Big Thunder Mountain goes 40 mph! How can you think that is slow? It surely is faster than this. It's not Super fast but it gets going pretty good. Heck, Space Mountain is slower than it.
