At first, I liked Taichi better than arata, but then when they were young, he freakin' stole his glasses out of jealousy. GRRRRR

@kenziespierrot Well, his inspiration and reason for loving Karuta died when he went off to become a class A player at the game. He feels respomsible for the death of his grandfather and therefore we should sympathize with him. Yes, it can be considered inconsiderate for Arata to ignore Chihaya's attempts to contact him, but still, donmt lose hope in Arata! We all know he still really treasures her and the game.
