Horse Behavior: Vices—Kicking & Striking #1

Even the kindest and most gentle horse may kick out in a fearful or painful situation. A horses kick is far less powerful if you are really close to it rather than five to six feet away from it. Even so, most peoples natural instinct is to move away from the horse. This video clip does not show an "all-out" kick or strike, but the situation represents a potentially dangerous situation for the human and horses.
