See all the derivatives of capsaicin, the active natural chemical that puts the heat in hot peppers. Wayne Perry, inventor of Sinus Buster (the world's first hot pepper nasal spray) and Greensations (the world's first line of capsaicin skin care products), gives viewers an inside look at the variations of capsaicin used in his innovative products. This is a "behind the scenes" look at the research and development secrets used to create Perry's breakthrough capsaicin health products.

  • With which method (s) could purify the CAP, in addition, as is the conventional chromatography??. It is known that unsaturation is what differentiates it from its analog DHC, as could achieve this end.

Not if I can brin information on the subject, such as articles, videos, books, etc.

    Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm really not sure of the exact methods and solvents used to create pure capsaicin because I only deal with natural resins and tinctures. For resins and tinctures, they used organic alcohol solvents since tinctures and resins are prepared for food products.

  • @pepperman911 i know capsaicin have properties like asprin. I just read about that and im not supposed to take asprin whatsoever because of the bleeding properties.(head trauma) are peppers going to be safe to eat?

  • @PsilocybinDream

Hot peppers are recommended by cardiologists for heart patients and patients with high cholesterol. They don't thin the blood like aspirin, instead they boost circulation and blood flow by opening up vessel pathways. Of course - always ask your doctor first.

  • how is capsaicin made?

  • @davidisraw Capsaicin is made from hot peppers of the capsicum variety such as cayenne or habanero peppers. Capsaicin is an extract that's derived mainly through alcohol solvent extraction from the peppers. It's then synthesized into a powder form that can be over 16 Million sku.

  • dude, the heat comes from the veins, not the seeds.

  • How did you get the pharm capsaicin? Or just a pure solid form of capsaicin? I can't find it anywhere. Please help!

  • @pepperman911

    Resiniferatoxin is 16 BILLION scovilles!

  • @Lynium I think it was "Blairs" something or other.. it was rated at 17 million, but other than that, I thought 16 mill was the peak myself..

  • @Lynium no, i was saying why not just juice some habaneros & preserve the juice with a little alcohol.

  • @JackHighlander

you use alchohol to extract it.. would seem silly to store it in it.

pure cap crystals hit 16 mill scoville.. it doesnt get any hotter than that so far as i've ever seen

  • you guys gotta try Prometheus Springs - it's a beverage with capsaicin, so it's got a little kick

  • Can you advise me where to buy oleoresin capsicum. Something like in the video, that contains all the good stuff. There is all sorts of stuff on the internet, but I want to buy from a trusted source.

You can send me PM. Thanks!

  • @juanDminguez the peppers are actually soaked in pure alcohlol to extract small amounts but you repeat the process a couple times to refine the capsacin ive tried it with the Bhut Jhalokia and its extremley potent btw pepper man is dead on its the same process for creating the tinctures
