When will the rapture take place? It wasn't when Harold Camping said it was to take place or any other of the false prophets before him. We will all have our own personal rapture on the day we leave this body, within the next 80 years for most of us. All who expected the rapture in their lifetime were wrong. My revelation of the date of the 'rapture' : the 5th of Never.
@1968DesertEagle we are living in the church age now and yes christians were always given a hard time for chosing jesus and many were killed for it, but we are still in the church age, when jesus catches believers up into the sky then the tribulation period period starts and 7 years later the millium. we are still in the age of grace (the church age). no where in the bible is the church here during the tribulation. the church is not even mantioned after the 4th chapter of revelations
@Daneduggan26 : The fourth beast represents the rule of the antichrist... Look this up if it interests you: There are 3 ribs in the mouth of the bear: these are Lybia, Ethiopia and Egypt. Keep an eye on the next to fall....
@WweMariaa : Have you ever accepted Christ into your heart? Jesus is LOVE and it is a love that is perfect. Perfect love drives out fear. Nobody is righteous, not one of us....not everybody who calls themselves a Christian is going to make it to heaven. Only those who have been saved by grace. Believing that Christ died to save your from your sins is "faith"-- It is by faith you have been saved by grace. It is not something we earn; but a gift from God.
@fintalily : AMEN! You could not have said it better! Christians need to study God's Word and not rely on their pastor's or lay persons to interpret it for them! Even Obama calls himself a Christian---but his actions speak different!
@wlv888: I will agree that we must have the blood of Christ applied to our hearts to be saved and made worthy, but it is impossible to keep all 10 commandments. The greatest commandments are: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength and to love your neighbor as yourself. God gave the BIG 10 because he knew mankind's heart is deceitful.. He knows we mess up. If you can keep all 10 Commandments, then you are "perfect"---and that is impossible, friend.
@AndrewKH85 : I agree, the Bible is not hard to follow...I find Revelation a pure joy! Yes, I have heard those excuses before from people, even pastors! This is why God pulled me out of the mainstream--too much tradition and not enough spiritual education.
@mrcooldude964 : It sounds like you believe in a pre-tribulation "harvest". That is not Biblical. Jesus himself said that we will suffer on account of him...I see this happening right now. It may not be to the extent that others suffer in other lands, but it is coming to America and fast! We are told to be ready and that is the bottom line. You need to read the Scipture because judgment will begin in the House of God!
@Michael63Lyman : Let me direct you to the book of Joel. In the last days, God will pour out his Spirit on all people. NOT JUST THE MEN! You are very egotistical to think that only your gender will receive God's Spirit. If it is shameful for me to speak in the church, then you must think it is more shameful to rebuke a man for their lack of spiritual knowledge! I WILL STAND AND SPEAK FOR CHRIST whether you think it is appropriate or not.
@fieryfortress: Amen! There are many great women of the Bible, and Jesus was close to many of them: Mary Magdelen, Mary & Martha (sisters of Lazarus), and others who are not even named. Women ministered to Jesus all through his life..! Time for men to stop being so ignorant of our role in the Kingdom of God!
