  • this piece was invented when I first heared the finale from the 1th symphony of louis vierne, that pedal theme inspired me and the glorious widor toccata from the 5th symph by charles widor.the master of organ music since J.S.bach

  • I belive that you have a brilliant future as a composer. If it is possible, I would indeed love to have the score for "Glory in the Highest. Best of luck as an organist and composer.

  • I think the "Glory in the Highest" is an excellent example of a true organ piece. It heavily uses the full resources of the organ; pedal reeds, repeated manual passages, and a moving pedal line. Its harmonic quality is truly worthy of the name Widor. The manual line and the pedal line remind me of the Widor Toccata, which is an organ masterpiece in itself.

  • Sorry. I meant that was great as in - "that was awesome". However the pipe organ usually has a "great division" or a "great" manual and some organists will say things like that was "great" or that was "swell". Sorry. I am not very funny. But the fact remains that your playing is awesome. :)

  • I was wondering the same thing. Although, with a composition like this one, it wouldn't surprise me.

  • Great! I loved it! BTW Is Christian Widor related to the Charles Marie Widor?

  • Thats a very common organ console layout in Germany.

  • I have never seen a stop jamb array quite like this.
