Seeing it in action my worst fears are realized, the Single message tuning is going to be a serious limitation, I much prefer using DM780 and being able to pickup a DX contact by seeing everyone at once on the freq. So overall this feature is now a bust for me on the 7700. God why did Icom take out the Dual Watch, it leaves 756proIII owners with only the 7600 and thats not a huge upgrade since the LCD is almost the same res as the 756proIII
You mean that radio can tell you what is being typed without having to hook it up to a computer? Awesome! I spent many hours going outside with my Grundig G5 and recording 14,070 kHz with the Canon SD-750 acoustically, then running to the PC to figure out what was typed. That's a cool radio. I take it's the one that just came out recently.
Now you need to learn how to focus
