Between 74th and 95th Street in Chicago's Auburn-Gresham neighborhood, the BRC meets a host of railroads including the NS Chicago District, UP Villa Grove Sub, and the CRL Main. Metra's Rock Island District flies over it all to the South. At the North end of the junction, there is a wye where the Chicago District splits off. Most NS trains go Southward, with Metra Southwest Service trains taking the North leg to CUS. An unexpected Ferromex GEVO leading a UP freight off the Villa Grove bound for BRC's Clearing Yard, really made it worth coming here. Sightlines are good around here too.
