Relic Trinity Replica harp. Willow frame and soundbox. Strung completely in 18ct Gold -- Thanks to Ann Heymann for the gauging and her help.
Finished this morning, I always underestimate the work involved with replica harps!

  • I can't say that I have noticed a difference in tone but I am light with the pen and I do not cover all the wire. I hope this helps. Sorry, I replied to you earlier from the wrong account ;-) W...

  • @wmacdonald OIC, then the second question, don't they change the sound too much if you color them 100%? I have exactly that problem on my wire-strung harp and results in a sound change most notably on the higher pitched strings. The lower strings are not affected.
