What's the point of doing that to a 2WD?

Taller? Oh no! The lowest possible GC! GOr crawling...lockers, gears and low GC.

yeah on my 99 ranger it was only 2wd but with a rear locker and 36'' mud tires nothing i could find could stop it....man I miss that truck
