  • Love songs are written by men to be read by women.

  • @1234crackerboxpalace awesome, I shall go get it:D.

  • this is one of those fantastic tunes that gets lost in the greatness of the 206 beatle songs. there are just so many that are so good, and since this wasn't released as a single it doesn't get enough acclaim.but what a melody...so gorgeously memorable. it's amazing that in just 7 little years this group managed to put out not just an epic amount of songs, but GREAT songs. it's fun to come back to ones like this and, "your mother should know", "if i fell", "this boy", and "for no one". love it.

  • I wasn't born in the 60s, although I dearly wish I was. However, I'm quite proud of myself for recreating it in my mind.

  • @honeybearspapa agree, it was a special time! I vividly remember the first time I heard Rubber Soul in a sleazy Zurich students club, way back in the Sixties, and the strict separation between Beatles and Stones fans... now I appreciate them both, especially after Keef Richards' brilliant autobiography

  • This was never released as a single, but the Beatles in their time were so huge that many top-40 stations played some cuts from Beatles' albums.

I suspect this was one of those album cuts that got top-40 airplay.

About a decade later, Anne Murray did a cover version of this song, which became one of her biggest hits.

  • KE BONITO VIDEO DE VERDAD CASI ME HACEN LLORAR POR LAS IMAGENES Y DOY GRACIAS A QUIEN SUBIO ESTE VIDEO, EN SERIO ME AGRADO MUCHO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
