  • really cool:-) thank you:-)

  • Want to do this in iMovie ???? watch my video : /watch?v=Lhnx13GHdcg

  • I'm going to make a video which combines scenes from many movies. A lot of films will not be the standard widescreen, so it'll be annoying for me to crop each one. Is there a way for me to set a crop that is instantly attached to every clip at once?

  • Awesome.. Thanks A Lot, Bro.

  • Good stuff thanks man

  • There's a widescreen filter in FCP where you can dial in the 2.35:1 letterbox. It's in the "matte" folder in the video filters folder in the effects tab.

  • That's not 16x9. That is 2:35:1 what you cropped it to. Many movies are still shot in 16x9 though.

  • @JKninjaa You can't get rid of them unless you crop the right and left side. 16:9 is a more filmic ratio though, so I would recommend using it.

  • have u tried just creating the black bars in photoshop, save them as a psd with transparent background and import them in2 fcp. that way itz faster and you don't have to merge or click first on every clip within yo sequence before you crop. #jst suggesting...

  • @chazzanator2 Oh wow it works! Thank you so much!
