  • i bought a 28 dodge like this off craigslist for $3000 its all complete just been sitting for the past 40 years , i wont to restore it but i cant find parts any ideas or website help i would really appreciate it

  • @bamcalpoly Good luck finding parts for it !! IMHO, it's not worth restoring. It will cost you 40k to restore it, but will only be worth 20K when done. It doesn't make financial sense !!

Even if you do restore it, it will be a useless car, that can't be driven long distances, or on todays higways.

  • You ruined it. If you were going to change it that much, you might as well have started from scratch or from a kit. Small block Chevy?! Really? Couldn't have at least kept it in the family and used a 318/360, or better yet a Slant Six? I am disappoint.

  • @minustrouserpants A small block Chevy?? You sir, are a fool !! A 3 year old can see that it's a small block Dodge !! Before you post trash about others, at least make educated comments !

  • I love how you shortened the car. It made it look kinda like a Ford but it's what you wanted to do and I can respect the workmanship of it. You did what you wanted and that's what building a hot rod is all about. Some people might not like it but preserving an old car like this is for those that don't plan to drive the thing anywhere, they just want it to sit in the garage and be some kinda eye candy.

  • @TheCrazyphysco Thanks for the comment ! I wanted to build a one of a kind car because I got tired of seeing 32 Fords with 350 chev engines. It's nice to be able to go to an event with 7000+ custom cars, and be guaranteed that there won't be another one remotely close.

  • Nice car and good work, you need some skills to put a thing like this together. It shows not only Ford make goodlooking HotRods.

  • nice

  • everyone has their taste. looks like it was destroyed but thats just my opinion. i always wonder when someone does this: wdont you just buy a new car if you want a modern motor brakes suspension etc etc.

  • nice job man!!!!!! great work.

  • dude i wish i could make one very nice :D

  • BTW what is the motor? 340?
