Buildings located on environmentally fragile areas and previously earmarked for demolition may not be brought down after all. But, there's a catch. Lands minister James Orengo now says that the government
will vary action taken on
such violations from
property to property. However any commercial or private property built at
least thirty meters from a river will be put on notice for demolition.
